If y'all are ever in the corpus area when I'm not in school we can shoot. We farm in Taft so my range goes on for about a mile and half.

i will i shoot a thousand allot, just really early before our wind gets to blowing.

Ok guru's help me decide 338 RUM or Lapua?

Really leaning towards Rum. All in all rum is cheaper to shoot and is ballistically in line with Lapua.


Also, if any of y'all want a D760 autogated pinnacle gen 3 night scope there will be one for sale as soon as I take pics!

Handload it. Iv shot a 338 lapua wow it was sweet but it was built on flat bottom with a 28inch barrel.

Does this count? .177 Gamo Big Cat. 2-7x32 barska airgun scope. shooting point 10.65 H&N match pellets. 700fps. just painted the stock coyote tan. 9.5 inch 3 shot group at a 100yds.

finshed my stock and tinkered with different pellets, shot a 2 shot .125 group at 20yds.

i do shoot to 100. but in case you dont know im shooting an air rifle. but i have shot 9.5 inch groups at a 100.

I've owned one and it is 100 times more practical! Going with a stiller action and a Christensen barrel. May go with a McMillan stock this go around. Just can't decide between the two.

Nice. I read the write up online but a little scared to start grinding down my bolt.
