We need to go shoot. There are a couple guys local with LR set-ups. I'm always up to learn a few things. Getting into reloading so hopefully I can get some good loads down.

If y'all are ever in the corpus area when I'm not in school we can shoot. We farm in Taft so my range goes on for about a mile and half.

Let me know brotha I live in corpus. I'm always down for someone to shoot long range with. I'm wanting to eventually hit the "ONE MILE" mark.

Ok guru's help me decide 338 RUM or Lapua?

Really leaning towards Rum. All in all rum is cheaper to shoot and is ballistically in line with Lapua.

Also, if any of y'all want a D760 autogated pinnacle gen 3 night scope there will be one for sale as soon as I take pics!

In the same boat!!!!! 338 seems more practical than a 50bmg

Handload it. Iv shot a 338 lapua wow it was sweet but it was built on flat bottom with a 28inch barrel.

I've owned one and it is 100 times more practical! Going with a stiller action and a Christensen barrel. May go with a McMillan stock this go around. Just can't decide between the two.
