I have my zero stop 4 clicks or 1moa past zero so once i hit the stop i click forwards(up) 4 clicks and i'm dead on at 100 yards. i guess you could always set the stop further back so you could come down more.
Thats pretty sweet. On my mark 4 I just bring it back to 360 hash on the 0 line, not as quick as the 0 stop.

when i shoot a 1000yds with .308 its usually a 42 moa hold but when i come back down i got the the third line, turret on 0, and if i want to shoot 100yds i just back the turret down.

I have the zero stop and it's the best thing they've ever come out with. I have mine zero at 100yds and just twist from there. No sense in sighting in at 300yds if you know your clicks or cross hairs off hand.

I wanted the Zero Stop dials on my scope so I could easily return to my 100 or 200yd zero without having to look or guess where I'm at.

They are nice, I would like them but for what most people do the regular will work fine. Not trying to engage multiple targets at random yards. Usually shooting a certain target at range or maybe at a deer standing out in the field feeding.

Ordered a RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme Master Reloading kit. What else do I need to get me up and going, got dies for my .250 savage and .300RUM already. Trying to decide what powder and grain bullets I should go with. I am going to be using the rounds to shoot 150-200+ lb whitetail deer and maybe a bear if I can get one lined up this year. But at the same time I want the ability to still reach out to 1,000 yards and pop a yote or hog or a metal plate for bragging purposes. Any info will be much appericated. Something to get me a started

had someone do it, i can find the name for you, think it was 125 for the bolt and handle work.
my excuse was i wanted to drop a little weight but really i just wanted it to stick out from the average remington 700
