Make sure your scope is straight I talked to a guy that got one of those savages and the holes for the pic mount were tapped not true with the reserver

81 grains? What powder? What projectile? I had a perfect load at 97.0 retumbo and 200 accubond but didnt like what it was doing to deer. Might try a different projectile.

I need urs And trophy8s load data If y'all don't mind in what y'all are loading for yall 300 win.

I have a 700 police and I'm just starting to reload and looking for a good load to start with for long range hunting and shooting

I can't give that out lol. Had some pressure problems. Finally found a barrel and will give you the load I get for it when it happens.

I'm running this is the .300 ultra. I ran up to 100grains of Retumbo but 97 gave me best results. I'm about to try 215 Berger here in a few weeks. The 200 accubonds didnt knock the deer down like I expected. I shot 5 or 6 with it this year and had to trail them, all kill shots. I have a thread (live NC deer hunting) where I talk about it more.

Haha yea I don't want that one! I need a safe one. I've gas really good luck with the hornady 300win 178gr match ammo.
Shot really good groups! So for now I may try to load something similar to that with a little more perfection.
