Got my booth cushions in. They fit perfect.

Finally completed all construction inside today. Custom made a twin over full bunk bed. I’ll probably add storage underneath later.

Polyurethane it all and install the hardware and she’s a wrap.

DIY Cabin build

Gonna be a pain to make-up the sheets on that bunk bed, but I love the design! Cool way to integrate it into the room.

Most bunk beds are anyway unless you just use sleeping bags and I had thought about that so I added a couple of extra inches all the way around to the recommended mattress dimensions.

Also the mattress only sets 4.5” below the side rails.
There’s a 2x4 running horizontal behind it that the slats are sitting on and it’s raised 1” above the bottom of the 1x10… so 1/2 of the mattress height is exposed.

The pillow side actually has about 5 extra inches where I’ll be adding a built in decorative head board with with recessed shelves, lighting and USB ports. But that’s on the rainy day project list.

It was a rainy day, knocked out the head board then moved cameras around and set feeders for off season feed times and pig killing.
