Ran romex all morning till i was out of 14/2, nearly finished all the lights.
Ran some 12/2 and got about 1/2 the outlets ran.
Few more hours and I’ll be ready to hook up the meter box and run my main water line.
Headed back to work tomorrow for 2 weeks. Maybe next days off I’ll wrap that up. Get the ACs installed as start insulation.

Plumbing and electrical is wrapped up finally.
Knocked out the rest of the porch ceiling while I had some help. Have to add some trim boards and the front soffit and that’ll complete the outside.
Also added full length stairs on the west side of the porch.
Bringing a ditcher out tomorrow to ditch water and electric service lines.
Pressure test Water and gas lines. Run minisplit lines and I can start insulating it.

Killed some pigs last night. Setup a Ranch king blind and two 600# feeders with one 32x32 pen at one today also.
              Busy and HOT few days!

150’ of water line in, pressure tested all the plumbing with no issues. Set the meter pole and ran service in to my breaker panel.
Will wrap it up tomorrow morning.

On your water lines , what made you decide to go with pex b instead of pex a ?

Curious about water lines running on exterior walls. Is it necessary to insulate those lines to prevent them from freezing up?

I already had the tools and some supplies to do pex b
Fittings have a slightly smaller ID with it but I’m ok with that.

                          Question..
on the foundation what made you choose 4x6 piers in ground? im looking at a very similar build on my place but have read so much negative about direct burial of treated post... like in 10yrs you will be dealing w rot. and redoing the footings?

Im thinking of concrete footing and a simpson tie to the 6x8 posts. Maybe Im being overly cautious but I have dealt w rot on fence post and it suprised me how quick it became rotten.

Not knocking the OP's construction method but if you are concerned about rot, install the footings with a steel post base such as Simpson to get the bottom of the post up above grade and you should be good.

I agree with that as a better option. I set mine approx 2’ in the ground. Packed with a foot of dirt at the base, then one sack of sakrete on top, crown finished to shed water. My understanding is if you fill the entire hole with concrete it traps water and rots the post. Also after i stack the rock underpinning and finish my final grade the foundation will stay dry and never see rain water and I believe it’ll last my lifetime, I hope.

Finished the steps, capped the fronts, wrapped up the ceiling, installed a frost free hydrant and got the electric tied in to the main and inside panel. Covered all the ditches up and cleaned up. Too hot out there so I’m taking the weekend off!
