My company is doing a drawing October 15th for everyone who was voluntarily vaccinated by October 1st.
1st prize $50,000
2nd prize$25,000
3rd prize $15,000
4th prize $10,000
5th prize $5,000
And 10 $1,000 prizes.
Can you drop company provided insurance and self insure through Medi-share (or something similar) ?
Yes, but usually with a penalty.
My work charges me nothing to drop their horrible insurance. My wife's insurance makes me pay a $150 penalty on top of the spouse rate for rejecting my alternate coverage.
My company does not discuss an individuals medical situation. We pay 100% medical and dental for all employee's and family. if it was ever officially required we would not require proof but rather an "I am good" from the employee. FkJB
AT&T is giving its employees until February to get vaccinated or terminated
Interesting, hopefully some court decisions will come out between now and then to tamp it down.
If not at least they’ve got 3 1/2 months to line up another job.
This is ridiculous. The vaccine isn’t a vaccine. It doesn’t make you immune. There is not a way for them to prove it lessens the symptoms because everyone reacts differently to the virus (much like the flu). If you can still get it and still spread it, WHY are people and companies doing this?
Our company mandated that all the managers get the jab by a certain date. The people at field level haven't been mandated yet but rumor is that it's coming. My question is that if it is so important and makes such a difference then why are they spreading the mandates out so far. If something is going to kill you then why would they say you have till next year to protect yourself. If its that important then you would think they would want it done Now. Doesn't add up.
So, it's not me, but maybe relevant to the topic. My wife was told last week Dec. 8 deadline to be fully vaxed or termination. Have only told management and not rest of company staff yet, however. Giant company and apparently, so far, this will only apply to the division of the company that is a Medicare contractor, so it's completely a Biden mandate decision at this point.
Our local TV station anchor and a weatherman that's been there over 20 years were just fired. Weatherman claimed religious exemption. Denied. Anchor is allergic to two ingredients common to all 3 vaxs. His Dr. said he can't get it as it's too dangerous for him. He has had covid with no complications. Turned in medical exemption with Dr. and a pharmacist affidavit saying vax is dangerous with his particular condition. Denied and fired. Letter from company said he was a liability to the company and thus terminated. This is Gray Media Co. Based in Atlanta. He posted a facebook video explaining the situation and why he suddenly wasn't on the air anymore.
The biggest hospital in our area is NOT requiring vaccination. For now anyway. My son is in nursing school and doing his clinicals there. He has zero intention of getting the vax and said the majority of nurses he worked with last semester were not getting it.

I work for one of the largest oil companies. Not a peep about the jab so far, no emails no nothing. They did pretty much do away with the facial hair policy for some reason, I heard something about a moral booster I thought that was a little strange. Supervisors have had man power meetings and supposedly we have already lost 600 out of the mechanical division this year due to people going to other companies. I’m thinking they are scared to death what will happen if they try and force the jab.
AA says no full jab by November 28, no job. They claim you can apply for a med or religious exemption. I don't have much faith in that though.
RR....I think get the full satisfaction of your question, your about a month or so early.
