      Thank you!

From the article. "Kinsey was shot in his right leg after officers fired two or three shots, according to Napoleon."

Do we know for sure there were multiple shots fired? From the one officer?

story is getting weird...I only watched the vid & didn't catch this.

makes you wonder if they are from the same officer or not...the fact there is no vid at the time of the shooting is starting to smell worse.

I believe Miami police started wearing body cameras this year, so with all the officers on the scene I would imagine video of the shooting will come out.

No doubt the victim just won the lottery. He is lucky and will now live a life of luxury. The officer on the other hand will live in shame and poverty the rest of his life. Sometimes bad things happen to good people.

I don't call getting shot, even in the leg, winning the lottery...big settlement check or not.

Assuming that what we have seen is accurate, this guy was on his back with his hands in the air, talking calmly to the officers to explain the situation, then he was shot. What can a person do to de-escalate such a situation? Seems to me that he did everything "right".

The police haven't released the entire story and any video that doesn't show the actual shooting is irrelevant. Might as well show us an episode of Sponge Bob and ask our opinion on the shooting. I can comment on something I cant see.

I was going to post this yesterday, but changed my mind. The local Miami channel posted the video footage uncensored, but the article accompanying the video has changed. Yesterday there was a direct quote attributed to the the police spokesman saying they were shooting at the special needs person for not complying.

IMO the man caught a fragment from one of the bullets. A direct impact of LE designed 5.56 would be life changing and not a "mosquito bite".

I don't see how anyone could come to any logical conclusion based on that video.

This does not look good for the PD.

Lawyer's name is Hilton Napoleon II. I can already tell this is going to be a great case.
