08/08/1984 just got a replacement, the student number is 110269. so, me thinks the student number is pretty meaningless.
Resulted in a spike Mule deer in San Juan National Forest Colorado.
Log onto the TPWD website and search for Education, it is real easy to get, take about a week to get it in the mail.

It is printed on your hunting license every year that you are certified. Thats all you have to have you dont have to have the card its self. I havent had mine since the first year when I took it when I was 13.
Dont know if the number is printed on the license with it or not but I know it says if you are hunter stafty certified.

Failure to carry proof of certification or deferral while hunting is a Class C, Parks and Wildlife Code Misdemeanor which is punishable by a fine no less than $25 nor more than $500.Last edited by maglite; 07-05-2009, 03:01 PM.
