I took the HS course in California in '97. However I don't think Texas recognizes Cali's course. I was born in May '71 so I didn't have to take it when I moved back to TX. My wife and niece are taking the class tomorrow through Wednesday. My wife missed the cutoff by 16 days.

I lost mine. How long does it take to get the replacement? I just did it on line.

I think it has something to do with your class or the instructor.

Mine says #001 (I tHINK) I'll try to find it to verify that

I know I'm not the first to ever take the class

mine is 0010, from 1988, and the Instructor ID number is his ssn.... probably wouldnt do much good to steal it, he retired an ag teacher and was living in an RV park... He might have had a million, but Im pretty sure he didnt! He was rich, just not in the wallet... taught a lot of us a whole bunch about real life, hunting, welding, putting up fence and which cold beer was the best to drink - when we got to be of legal drinking age of course!

I did go to Crawford. We also got to shoot our shot guns before dove season, go fill deer feeders at a classmates land, watch hunting videos, etc. Half of the class was wildlife and the other half of the class was spent watching football game film from our opponents that week. I loved Ag class.

Took my license out of that little space I keep it in in my wallet. Unfolded it and found my HE# under my address in the center of the license and a $20 bill I didn't know I had. Wonder how that got in there. Who cares. Whoo hoo!!!! x20
