Perch traps in stock ponds. We got 2 different ponds with them in it. One of our fishing buddies recently built a slab and had a pond built when they used full dirt. We just started our own mud cat pond there with about 300 fingerlings.

On sunday I’ll pull the live ones off the lines and haul them back home. Most will still live for another trip lol

Those mud cats are tough as nails. Unhooked a 15 lb. Flathead one night on a 10” mudcat that had no skin left from his pectoral fins to his tail but was still alive. Fished him again and had another Flathead at daylight.

Good hall on the perch traps. As you know treat your tank/pond owners right if it’s not your own. I use to let people use mine blindly. Not any longer. You probably know the rest of the story. Good luck on S.R. Following along on your boat load hopefully.

                    You ain't lying!!!

I'm tempted to buy a ice chest and get some mudcats on my way home to stock a pond and get it going. Got the perch just need the mudcats.

I'd sure like to take some off your hands if possible, I'm trying to stock a pond with them for a bait supply

I'd sure take some if you're serious, I'm about 40 minutes from you.

Looks like a can of cat food in the trap for mudcat?

The ponds that yall are growing them in, do you feed them at all? Ive got 4 small ponds that are really too shallow to be good for much else.

Also, do the gar go after them as bad as they do bream?
