What's you're weekly cost for medical coverage?

500$ a month w/ 8000$ deductible -> 250$ a paycheck for wife and I (family plan)

Often thought about just going without as that 6k$ a year would do much better in the bank than in anyone else's hand.

My job pays part of mine and my part is around $180.00 per month.

What i lack in pay i make up for in free insurance.
I could retire and pay for individual coverage bc/bs at a cost of @ 1000.00 monthly until I'm eligible for Medicare but i think I'll keep my day job until then.

Until groups 1 and 3 decide to stop simply shrugging their shoulders because they're lucky it will get worse. I hope those same guys don't come on here complaining once they lose their job (or their job cuts insurance)

No that's Obamacare. If you don't qualify for group coverage you have to go thru the healthcare exchange. And I'm pretty sure that was with a $6500 deductible. You have to not only pay for your insurance but several deadbeats as well.
