About $45 every two weeks for family plan including wife and two kids. High deductible health plan with $3000/6000 (individual/family) deductible and $4000/8000 max out-of-pocket. Try to put what we save on premiums into a health savings account for use when needed.
Is this an employer plan where the company is paying for you? I have sold health insurance over 40 years and a $90 premium per month for a family is unheard of - what insurance company is this?
$5/wk for health, vision, and dental for me, my wife, and 2 kids. Through work. The owner of this company is awesome.
I have done group medical insurance as an agent for companies for many years - when an employer pays for more than just his employee (wife and kids) that is very rare believe me. Even large corporations don't typically help pay for dependents - I agree your owner is awesome and all the employees should be thankful for sure
$18/wk out of my check (employer covers the rest) - $6k deductible for each of my boys and myself with an out of pocket max of $13,000. My wife has hers through her employer
As predicted many years ago when Obama started this crap... And it will only get worse until people stop paying.
As of now we're all divided
1. People who are lucky and get it cheaper (may still sting but not as bad) through work.
2. People who need it and suck it up and pay far too much
3. People who have gotten use to paying too much and prefer to not think about it
4. People who get it for free
5. The minority group of people who refuse to pay and are risking it.
Until groups 1 and 3 decide to stop simply shrugging their shoulders because they're lucky it will get worse. I hope those same guys don't come on here complaining once they lose their job (or their job cuts insurance) because I doubt the guys being screwed over for the last 10+ years will give a crap at this point.
I dont understand this statement. Do you have a beef with those 2 groups?

Yes, if they don't care that others are getting screwed but then can't figure out why no one helps them when they're getting screwed. This is the major problem we have these days. If a man is not hungry he doesn't care about the men who are. You see it every day.
Just north of $1600/mo for the family plan. That’s medical, dental, and vision. Makes me want to puke
I am feeling very blessed. I looked at my paystub for 10/21 and I have paid exactly 1600 ytd for medical. Dental and vision another 300. It is me and the kid. The wife stays on hers as she already has doctors in the area she likes and it is a bit cheaper that way.
$45 a week for medical, dental and vision, $0 deductible, $3000 out of pocket max. Jan 1 it is actually going down about $8 a pay period...
$106.15 per week for my part. Covers myself, wife and 2 kids on BCBS. Employer picks up $287.07 a week.
If coverage only cost your employer 1703/month for your entire family then your employer has a bunch of young and healthy folks in the insured pool. Our cost from bcbs to ensure an entire family are about 2680/mo. We pay for 2/3s of the employee's coverage and 1/4 of dependents coverage.
An employee for us that is insuring entire family it cost them 1730/mo. If the employee is only insuring themselves it cost about 220/mo.
$73 per week......$147 per bi-weekly paycheck. That is for Medical, Dental, and Vision for myself, Wife, and my Daughter. My son turned 26 so he cannot be on my Medical. Even if he was....the price would still be $147 per pay period. Not bad in my opinion.

I guess I don't see what you're upset with them for. How do you determine they don't care that others are getting screwed? Are you saying they should reject they're employers paid benefits in protest to those employers who aren't paying?
