Gas Prices

We rode from Sweeny, TX to Orange Beach, AL Friday. I’ve never seen traffic that light on I-10. I recently bought me a Honda Civic for commuting, we took it on this trip. Averaged 41mpg, one fill up between here and our house. Lol

I know that fuel prices and traveling are a major concern for most today, but, this is just my opinion, I would rather be in my F350 C/C if involved in a wreck than a small commuter car. I now you can have an accident in either and not survive, but i think I can survive in my truck easier than an small car no matter the safety features. Not sure a small car could survive in a collision with my truck.. Just saying.

That is some great mileage though. Glad it was good and nothing bad happened.

4.50 a gallon for gas
5.00 for diesel
5 for a quart of oil and 2 for a bottle of water.
And I bet most folks still drive 80 mph and get a Starbucks on the way to work every day
