    Had a good weekend!

People bailed Saturday. So hit Granger with Pouldeaux. Caught 25ish, lots of dinks, only 11 keepers. Jigs in trees, 3-6' on edges of river. Keepers were all full of eggs, so they're not done yet.

Sunday (today) met some buddies and hit TP&L. Pulled some good ones off a brush pile in 12' of water. Wind kicked up, so got out the wind and beat them up on the banks. Some of the darkest males I've ever seen. Only a few females. They're just getting started I think there. Think we kept 22, and 5 whites. Threw back just as many dinks.

Nice haul! I didn’t see the cooler full of Busch light! Ended up with 13 keepers today fishing from the bank!

I'm about to get into the forward facing sonar world for the first time. I'm going with the new LVS34 transducer. May as well get the latest and greatest.

Today was a bad day to be a crappie! That said most days are bad days to be a crappie on my sled!

Yes but water is still cold, I could be wrong but don’t think the spawn has started yet.

All my keepers Saturday were full of eggs. I think we're in middle of it. Water temp was pretty warm in river saturday.

Thanks! Glad to come up a little on day 2 after a terrible day 1 in our minds. Lake Fork is fishing great right now. Hate I'm not there more this month!

Maybe I should stay home and fish Fork instead of Murvaul. I can not catch fish of Fork just as easy as I can not catch them on Murvaul and it's a lot closer!

It'll be a lot more fun to not catch fish with us though! I like to stand around and drink beer while other people clean fish ...
