The females were thick this afternoon in 5-10 FOW close to the banks this afternoon on Waco. This one went 1.85

Woooo! Mais Wey, I tell y'all, it was slow. I caught one Sacalait in 2 hours, thought this nice lady was gonna think I ain't no cajun I just brought her on my fancy boat to show off the rooster tail.

Found a stump off the bank about 2' of water and put 15 in the boat in 30 minutes!

Just finished cleaning fish, about to jump in the shower and then have some fun !

The rooster tail rides again!!

Slabs getting the weekend off! We’re headed to the turkey woods to choke on dust and goat poop! Slabs in trouble next week though. Headed to Natchitoches to fish the Red River! Probably won’t recognize that town. It’s grown a lot since I left in 98!

Pics are inconclusive. Does she have an eye patch, any other defects! Congrats on landing some meat!

Boated a few today, fun times! The males were shallow and the females were a little deeper.

Crazy how a few days can affect the bite. Thursday night I caught 11 keepers and over 30 fish. Today I caught 5 fish and just 3 keepers. Wonder if they went deeper because of the heat.

We found a pile of males on beds in 4-6 fow on Friday evening. Had a 2 man limit in less than an hour. We took our oldest kids Sunday evening and put 4 limits in the boat but had to work a little harder for them. Took us about 3 hours.
