Get a Replica made! Bill Muntz with Fin and Bones Taxidermy has made me several!

Just needs a pic or a guess on size!

I know I'm gonna catch some heat over this....but when I hit that 3 its gonna die. I want my mount about as 100% match as possible..no guesswork or off the shelf match. For ALL the crappie I throw back I feel ok about sacrificing 1 to the fish gods

When it reaches 3 pounds it's dang near dead anyhow. Bill does skin mounts as well. I need me a 3 pound black to go with my whites! 1st world problems!

I know I'm preaching to the choir on here stating that Todd (Slew) is a darn good guide and a good dude to hang with. This weekend he was able to put me and my buddy on a mess of fish to take home also joining the 2 pound crappie club... btw it was just shy of 16 inches long. Thanks again for the knowledge and great experience. We will definitely be giving you a call when planning another fishing trip to east Texas.

Thank you sir! Fun day for sure! I froze my butt off today. I'm gonna put every piece of clothing I brought on tomorrow. Found fish but they're just fish. I'm not fishing in the cold an rain all day tomorrow. One day was enough! Gonna add a squeegee to the boat. Need something to clean the rain and snow off the screen!

We caught what I thought we would catch! That said it was better than I thought it would be. Stuck a good one to a tree we lost and had some big ones not fire. They were in our 4th spot. We’re gonna start there tomorrow. Hopefully they’re still there.

Sitting in 11th place about to get ready for day 2. 12.33 with a 2.70 kicker. 14.39 is leading and 3.01 is big fish. 32 and Freezing rain switching to rain and a high of 36 is what we get to look forward too! Won’t be near as many boats today. Imagine several left yesterday. Hoping to slide up some and finish in the top 10 but money would be nice too!!

Dang I’m tired of fishing in cold weather! I’m buying more clothes.
