Saturday was brutal! I don't know how we didn't tear anything up! Fished 4-6' in 2' waves and timber as thick as anywhere we've been. Couldn't get to some of the fish cause you were constantly hung up on stumps the entire time. We lost 3 fish, broke one off, and missed several bites but I put 2 in the boat last 20 minutes that sealed the deal. I thought we blew it till Wesley weighted in then we thought we had a good chance. Wind was terrible but that's where the winning fish were so we grinded it out all day. No way that happens without lithium batteries!

Back at Palestine! It’s no Conroe but here we are!!

Caught a few good ones over Easter on murvaul. Didn't catch a limit but caught two that weighed 2.5 lbs and one just over 2 lbs.

I am taking my SPED certification test and took off the day tomorrow. I may try and go fishing after. Thinking I may burn a hole in the floor waiting on results so i may as well go do something.

Still working on restocking the freezer.

Well, I got to go one time this spring. Guess I should be greatful for that . To many irons in the fire before June to do any more fishing. Oh well. Maybe next fall/winter or spring.

The fish are biting, and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!
