    Thanks!!

That white hot thump chubby is [emoji91]! We pair them with the crazy angler walleye jig head.

I bought a bunch of Thump Bosses in 4 colors from Laner few years ago, for striper and sandies. Good bodies for dead stick-n too!

The new terrova and lithium batteries saved us and got us the 4.75 miles back to the ramp.

Bummer on the lower unit. Hopefully they get you back up running soon! 50 more took a ride today on Conroe! They get a break though. Off to catch some yankee crappie this week. Hopefully I got hook small enough for those Rend lake crappie!

It should be fun! I’m told we should probably catch 100 fish a day!

Sorry for the bad luck. Lower units aren't hard to change out of you can find one.

I finally got out Friday. Caught 52 shooting docks from 11:30 to 3:00 on the same jig, when I broke it off it was time to head in. It was nice to finally be back out on the water.

Took a road trip Sunday. Got to tradinghouse at 08 00. Wasted too much time jiggin shallow piles early on. Moved a little deeper as it warmed up and caught a limit for the ride back home! They wanted bling bling colors- the sparklier the better! Caught a ton of ditch pickles too!

The middle of the south on brush. We had a couple males up shallow but several females with eggs still on the brush in 7-10 feet of water

Going to be hitting the lake this weekend, really wanting to focus on crappie and finding them with electronics (not live scope).

Lake I will be fishing has lots of brush all over deep to shallow water temps should be 68-72 degrees. I have never really fished crappie and got on a school by accident last year and have been really wanting to spend more time targeting them just don’t know where to start should they still be shallow or moving back out deeper in these conditions

I would fish brush in 15 to 20 foot

What lake you fishing? May still find plenty in shallower water. I don't have the fancy electronics, and I don't catch 156 2lb crappie every trip. But I do find without spotlock, and without livescope, it is a lot easier and less frustrating to catch them in structure I can see or tie the boat too(ie tree that fell in water off the bank, or a bridge piling) and if not it is definitely easier to stay on top of a brush pile in less than 10' of water.

I will find one, circle back, scan it again and drop my orange floaty, then get close with trolling motor and drop another floaty on the other edge, that way I can work between the two as a reference point once I find where they actually are.

Oh and it will be warm, remember to bring plenty of Busch light, and have a little leak in the boat to keep your feet cool.
