The LSBA didn’t grant me anything… and that is a simple truth.. I killed my first deer with a bow long before there was an LSBA.
To join a club, implies agreement. If I choose not to join, I lose no right to disagree and voice my disagreement. To join simply to breath discontent, would be joining under false pretenses..

The organization you speak of does much good in the bow hunting community but it does not speak for all bow hunters on all matters.. it speaks instead for its members as it should.

Not sure if you wrote that correctly?

I can live with that premise! Thus the reason I do not belong to the NRA but I do wholeheartedly support SCI........and LSBA!

I think this debate/discussion is good due to the fact that alot of hunters are on the fence about this issue and the arguments might sway them one way or the other.
AS long as it is kept civil and emotions are left out.

I agree, I'm just pleasantly amazed it has made it this long...

I'm not saying it is easier with a crossbow, but many people will think its easier with a crossbow. Thus, being mistaken, they will wound more animals. That's my view. If this passes, I hope I'm proven wrong.

Most believe in protecting the 2nd Amendment. However, when that was written the weapons were very primitive. If someone had the concept of semi auto or full auto firearms, I'm sure they would have made them. May have shorten the war with England. I think everyone would kick and scream if their ARs or black rifles were banned...

                    Just food for thought...

Also, a lot of northern states have done the exact opposite of people's fears. They have increased the number of archery days and reduced the number of firearm days to hunt deer.

In the big scheme, it would be good to embrace all outdoor people whether they hunt or fish. No one wants (nor do I ever see it happening) firearms during archery season.
