Travel safe jaker, stop in Laramie at The Library for some cans of great beer to take up, closed Mondays. The Rye IPA will pack a nice buzz after just 1 at altitude.
When I posted last we were giving a bull Forrest shot some time to be sure he was dead. We spotted it right at daylight and watched it bed under a 20’ cliff about 8am. I cow called for 20 min but he never paid us any mind. The wind was great so Forrest put the sneak on him and shot him bedded at 30 yards. Penetration was less than great so we figured he got a lung and didn’t want to push him. We found him dead about 150 yards from where he was shot. I didn’t want to post anything about it until we found him. Here he is. Tagged out on opening day by 8:30 am is a completely new strategy for any hunt I’ve ever been on
