My favorite time of the year is back again!! I’ve got most of my gear laid out and my bow is shooting mighty fine. Its almost time to get up in the hills to chase some big rutting bulls in SW Montana with a couple of good friends. But this year the action starts a bit early with a friend of mine inviting me to come help with his LE bull tag in Wyoming. I’m hitting the road on Friday morning and will be in the mountains of Wyoming Sunday morning bright and early to scout and set up camp. Opening day in Montana isn’t until the 5th so we have 4 days to hunt his tag before my hunt starts.
Below are some pictures from previous years and of some bulls that didn’t get killed last year during the season. They picked up some new ground that we are excited about and the weather is looking decent. The bull I killed last year is also pictured below.
