Refuge hunting was not as it should have been yesterday. First problem for us in all our years hunting there. Hate it when you get one person that doesn't want to read and follow the rules.

It's all good now with a little face to face and going over the rules. Had a nice quiet hunt yesterday evening.

Been working out of town for awhile now.... Typing this from my own bed with the wife an both kids crammed up all around me asleep. Wouldn't change this for the world..... But tomorrow both these kids get kicked out to there own rooms. I'm just gonna enjoy this for the night. God bless

Right there with ya, my back was screaming at me yesterday evening from all the walking at the refuge.

Productive, albeit sore, weekend working on redoing Caleb's bedroom. Crown molding in, base boards redone, captain's bed made along with a desk. Just have some touch up / sanding left to do. My wife is awesome at dreaming this stuff up.





Looking forward to this upcoming weekend at the Funny Farm... Putting the bow up for a bit and taking Dad's Contender chambered in 7mmTCU.

Never taken a deer with a pistol so I'm hoping to drop the hammer on sumtin!

Went to a Gastro doc yesterday and scheduled my colonoscopy, 20 years behind schedule. Chew told me to get it done when he KCA the first time. Set for Dec 4, wife picked up my supplies yesterday afternoon.

Headed to the cardiologist today to schedule a stress test, just a well get it all since my deductible is paid up for the year. Wife wants me to do a sleep study also, says I stop breathing at night while sleeping. I didn't know I could do that.
