Headin to the lease with my dad this weekend. It's a little different these days, but yall's pics sure bring back memories.

I'm havin a hard time getting geared up to bowhunt in 90+ temps....but we will get everything ready for next weekend, tilt a few cool ones, cook some steak, and maybe have a pig shoot.

That sounds hideous! (state farm winch)



I am taking a lifelong friend and his oldest son on our annual bow hunt at our lease. Only time I get to spend time with him anymore.

They do not have a lease. Hunt public land up around the Bonham area.

When they come to out place and they actually see deer, they are stoked! Very good christian family that I enjoy having my boys around for the positive influence based on basic but solid Godly ways! They do not say bad words or talk bad about anyone. Imagine that!

Very thankful for these weekends!

Long week at work. Working 15 hours today on little sleep. But.....headed to the property in Centerville tomorrow night and get in some bowhunting for a couple days before having to come back to Houston. Soak in in brothers & sisters....

Well a idea I've wanted too do for a long time has finally started. Dropped some onion sacks off at a local bait shop too help combat trash at kayak launches. Hope this picks up steam and takes off.

First day out hunting this season, I've never shot this unit before. Took a young man out for his 3d duck hunt. You can't shoot birds that are nor there, but a great day in Giod's beautiful creation. The while refuge shot poorly, but we were there.

Got my wife's golf cart back on the road after letting it sit for several months. The v-glide housing had been busted and rigged before we bought the cart and it finally gave up. I got on-line and started looking at v-glides and quit looking when I saw they wanted $390 for complete ones.
I took the batteries out and removed the v-glide box and figured it was just the casing on the contact side that was broken. Stopped by a local cart shop and the guy had an old one laying on a shelf in his shop, paid $10 for it and changed out parts from one housing to the other.
Put it back on the cart and wired it up, replaced the batteries and hit the switch. Cart took off like a new one. Charged the batteries overnight and it was on like donkey kong. My wife, daughter in law, and grandkids have been having fun all week.

$10 compared to almost $400 is a relief for sure.
