The way the question is worded, the answer is 13/16.

"Write out the fraction for served slices." 13 served, 16 available.

      Trick question

No one has ever not served the last 3 pieces of a pizza.... ever

All 16/16 were served.... or both 8/8.... or 2 &@&% pizzas

13/16 slices is less than 1 slice. 13/16 is wrong any way you slice it.

1 5/8 or 13/8 Pizzas served is the only correct answer.

To further thrash the dead horse: Once again spelling matters.

13/16 of a slice of pizza is less than one slice of a pizza. That is not the way the question is worded.

13/16 of two whole pizzas, cut into eight equal slices, is, or at least should be, an acceptable answer to the question as most of us interpret the very poorly worded question. (BTW - that is a horrible sentence. ). That would equal 1 5/8 whole pizza's. The fraction equivalent of 1 5/8 is 13/8 whole pizza's served. But the question did not ask how many whole pizza's were served.

            Isn't 2nd grade math fun?
