We will be there in 8U as well. Let me know Wednesday or so when the schedule comes out, I will most certainly try to come say hello, and maybe watch a game with you. That's bucket list stuff for me! our bunch of misfits is called the Wise Guys.

Jacksboro has a great facility, and they run a good tournament. We've played there a lot the last two years. Always a good show, and the best umpires I've seen anywhere.

Agree that the umps are first class and tourneys are well ran. Played there 3 times this year between both my boys.

PC Elite, we played y’all a couple weeks ago. We’re done for the summer now. Played our last one this past weekend in Burleson.

My son played this weekend and the team did pretty good, all wins were come from behind wins except the last game. Coaches are awesome, they definitely know the game and even if they didn’t win my son has gained some great knowledge from these guys. 14U Banditos

Yep, you guys have a great team. That was our 3rd straight game and a couple of our goons folded up, and the rest didn't play that well...but there's no question it would have taken our best shot to hang with you guys. We just aren't quite there with this bunch.

They beat us after 2 extra innings, it was a good game other than the arrogant coach and the screaming from the dugout.

During our little run we got lucky with a rules violation. We were down 3-0 in the 3rd.

While our score guy was checking our pitch counts as we were looking to change guys, he did a holy ish, and told our Coaches that the opposing Pitcher had recorded 4 straight days of pitching. Our Coach double checked the info and called over the TD. TD asked the Coach and he said he thought the innings on day one fell off as they progressed in the tournament. TD called the game.

Their Mamas got to yelling and screaming, a couple Dads got up in arms. I had to come from the outfield and stand between sides as they kept trying to get in faces. Their Coach told some of the calmer ones it was his fault and apologized. The pitcher was dropping "f" bombs and crying uncontrollably. Police showed up to escort them.

I hated it, but dang that was a dumb Coaching move. Felt terrible for the Kids. 10-11 yr olds.

Which is why it was literally a 2 minute meeting and it was done - literally took no time at all and they had to forfeit.

I could not believe how mad they were at us. If that was my Team, my frustration would have been with my Coach. Travel all that way and spend that kinda money for that? Whew, I would have been hot.

Yeh.. those are the teams that yell 'let the kids play' when they are caught committing rule violations.. but are the loudest screamin for a forfeit when its the other team committing them.
I'd be having words with that coach. He's responsible for knowing the rules and with that kind of time and money invested by the parents, he **** well should have his act together.

I can not believe that one kid threw 4 times. Not sure what you guys allow but if you have a coach that is riding your kid change teams. Don't let your kid go over whatever you decide. My kid is 16U and got to 90 pitches and is out. It does not mater the situation, tournament, or anything else. the coach throwing a 10-11 yea old kid that much should be throat punched.

Coach said he only pitched 1 1/3 the first day. I thought it was insane as well when I found out why we were doing the protest.

Just another reason to be ticked at your Coach, in my opinion.
