That looks like a coon hunter. He may have been hunting a neighboring property and his dog ran on yours and he went and got it. That happens a lot nowadays. Didn't look like he had a gun with him so idk if you can really call it poaching.....and dogs don't know what fences are for, they do what they're trained for whether it's on the right property or not. And if that dog is like the female I'm hunting, there's no callin the dog back to you. You have to go and get him. Not all dogs are like that but a lot of them are

There is one place where the dog could go through a culvert under the fence but he would have to climb the fence or go through a pad locked gate.

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk). They finally found his dog a little later. The land owner was pizzed but finally let the guy go without turning him over to GW or sheriff. He did tell the trespasser that was his one warning and next time he would press charges.

If my dogs cross a boundary I leave my gun in the truck or fence and go get them if I can't find a house to knock on the door and I get out as soon as I get them. so what's wrong with me not wanting to leave 4000 bucks in the woods and "hope" she finds her way back to the house?

People pay $4k for a hawg dawg?
