My first poacher encounter

Man I am ticked off! Just went through all my trail cam pics the the past two weeks and found someone tromping through my property last Tuesday night in the middle of the night with a freaking dog. This is a high fence behind another high fence. That's determination. I think if I can locate the dog in the second pics I've got the poacher.

Anyone know who the Leon County GW is and contact info?

Yeah except I've had these cameras up in the same places for a year and this is the first time I've ever seen this. I just want to make sure they don't try it again.

I think I'm going to set up cameras where I think the came in.

It's interesting you say this! These signs were just put out all around the outside of my property last week. The owner just had a government trapper come out. This already had me suspicious of him.

Have the owner invite the government trapper out so you can meet him in person. If he has a dog, they usually bring them with them. If you can identify the dog, show the trapper and the owner these pics of the trespasser and his dog.

Yes they do some times. The specialty govt. trapper I used on a Hill Country ranch back in the 90's had a dog with him. That dog hated coyotes and would find the coyote sign and slides or digs under a fence that coyotes had used recently. I never saw that man without his dog on his truck.
