This is 4 years ago mind you, but it was right at the time with H&S was getting sued by the EPA, and had to discontinue all of its products. EFI Live had the market cornered.

And passing anything - at any speed...is no problem.

I've made ricers, mustangs and cameros feel bad.

The powers addicting..but I spend 99% of my time in the tow tune...and it will still get out of its own way in a hurry.
I beat a 6 cyl mustang with a 26' enclosed trailer on my truck before. Seems like no matter the weight, it just pulls like nothing is back there.

Dang skippy! The full emissions diesels stink. I love the smell of a deleted diesel truck.

The tunes they have to write or much more complicated than they used to be. If you've ever seen some of the code that has to be written it's insane.

Also many of these options are switch on the fly like Dale mentioned and you will have up to 5 tunes available.

And actually I can get 5 EFI Live tunes (power levels) PLUS transmission tuning for about $750.

good ol supply and demand huh? haha wow, I am still amazed they are this much and higher. I said I wouldn't pay it, but im sure if I still had the need for a diesel I would have me some. I sure do miss mine after driving them since 2000 and wish I could justify having one but they are sure proud of em these days. considering I have only put 6k miles on my truck since December I cant make myself do it haha

So what are the pros and cons of each brand? It is definitely overwhelming

Putting it on later this week.
                      .
Also went with a exhaust tip...

This is one of the most confusing things out there to me. There are way too many options. What is the most cost effective route to be able to have a tuner that has more than one tune, but i dont care about having a monitor screen, egr and dpf delete, i want a muffler, and i dont want it loud. What brand, size pipe, etc. What part are needed and not needed? Id like to use my factory exhaust tip if possible. Does this help/ hurt in any way?

I didn't see what truck you have so what I am going to list is going to be for a Cummins.

                          EGR delete kit - $200
Flo-Pro Downpipe and intermediate pipe to replace the cat & DPF - $180
EFI Live with Autocal and CSP5 switch with transmission tuning - $1400

I'm keeping my stock muffler/tailpipe in place for now but even if I wanted to change whole system out to a 4" Flo Pro turbo back with a muffler it would only be about $300 more.

I would think Ford and Duramax are similar in price.

You can look online at Rollin Smoke Diesel and similar websites to get actual prices. Many of them are forum sponsors on their applicable truck's forums and offer discounts to forum members.

Labor is NOT included in those numbers above.

Most shops I called were in the $2200-$2500 range to turn key the full deletes.

You factory tip is welded on (mine was) *assuming you have a f250
You have to delete the dpf.. that's the point of doing this...that what is robbing the crap out of the motor, putting stress on injectors, and causing failures.... And mpg.
                            the egr can be disabled...
I went with a kit so I knew the components worked together, and got the tunes I wanted in a cohesive package.
There's a ton of options... just have to pick the one that closest matches your needs and bank account..

The better a motor breathes and expels gasses the more efficient it is...thus colder and bigger airboxes and bigger exhaust pipes you go the better, but that also creates a louder system and is generally more expensive.

I have a 2015 f250. Did those shop numbers you mentioned include the parts, or labor only??
