DPF complete delete kit recommendation

Did mine 2weeks ago. I have mainly driven conservative for mpg’s and seen an honest 2+ mpg gain for empty in town driving. I pulled my 30’ goose loaded 700 miles last weekend and noticed little change in mpg but big gains in power.

Oh, it this thing has crazy throttle response now! [emoji6]

I went full delete with a basic 80hp towing tune because I did not want to worry with extra gauges and watching EGT’s while pulling. Even so the rear tires got loose the 2 times I actually got on it.

Everytime I read these threads, I get the itch to delete my 16 ram. It’s just that **** warranty thing that gets to me.

Me too, said I'd do it when my warranty is up and got 45k on my '16 now. I don't think I can wait, getting tired of running low at all the wrong times and having to look for a **** truck stop. I ran it hundreds of miles on trips empty after the countdown mileage ran out hoping to break it, no luck lol. Word of advice, if you do that be sure to carry TWO jugs of DEF with you... one is not enough.
