I traded my 06 with 260k miles in on a 2015 F250. It was deleted and tuned. They never said anything about it. These days, they will just take in on a trade and send to the auction

Yup. Anything over 50K at a dealer is going to auction anyway....

How much louder does it make the truck. Im no longer into loud. I hope to do this in another 20,000 miles. And now i really have the itch.

I got the muffler, for the exact reason...not interested in being loud... and other than a nice throaty tone.. its absolutely fine.
No Drone (I drive mostly highway)...
don't get me wrong when you jump on it...its there..but its not obnoxious.

              Does it blow black smoke?

My 6.4 was straight pipe from the turbo back, deleted the dpf and muffler. At idle it wasn't any louder in the cab but outside it sounded like blow dryer. Wasn't loud but was a different pitch than stock. Cruising it was slightly louder than stock but still not that noticeable. Now when you buried your foot in the pedal it was a good bit louder, but still nothing like the dodge 5.9's. I don't like loud trucks for daily driving and it was never an issue for me. You can always add a high flow muffler if it's louder than you want.

depends on what tune your on...and how fast you bury the pedal..

Lol, so how much faster is it? Like you cant floor it from a stop due to tire spin or not that much? I sure like the sound of that as an issue even though id rarely if ever do it. I dont want to replace a tranny

                      Night and Day difference.
I can/have smoked the tires down.. (and they aint street tires..)

And passing anything - at any speed...is no problem.

I've made ricers, mustangs and cameros feel bad.

The powers addicting..but I spend 99% of my time in the tow tune...and it will still get out of its own way in a hurry.

I would reccomend you have someone tune it with EFI live. They can do custom tunes that will keep smoke to a minimum, and tune it according to your needs. If you get the little knob on the dash so you can have towing tunes, everyday tunes, and 1 "That little mother _______, I'll show him a......" tunes.

Nothing worse than getting stuck behind a diesel with a full delete. Cant get away from the smell besides getting in front of it. Enjoy the power.

I have an H&S Mini, and the programmer was $2700. My total bill for the delete was $3200 I think, with some one doing the work.
geezus! when did they get so high on tunes? I no longer have a diesel but most the places I used were around $150 for 3 tunes. no way I would pay 500 for em

The smell of the factory trucks when they clean the filter is much more caustic than regular diesel exhaust.
