One thing about Yeti that is pretty impressive is their marketing. They took the roto-molded cooler and made it a big deal. When someone can create a market out of seemingly thin air, they've done something right.

Wait for one of their coupons, use points, whatever.

Forgot to add, the pressure release valve is pretty handy.
Yep those are great coolers, just picked on up for my dad!

Crazy as it sounds to some, they are working on a even higher end clothing line.

The Kodi at HEB also has the pressure valve and pretty much all the same features and price point as the Cabelas. It's a nice cooler also

I have way to many tumblers. Pretty much all the Yeti's they make and they work fantastic as usual.

But I just have to say, I was given an "Orca" tumbler a few weeks ago. Not sure if I got a special one..lol, but dang that thing holds ice better than any of my other tumblers, by a very long shot...

I have an assortment of coolers as well. Never understood the bashing of the product. It works, and is more durable than anything previously on the market. Competition is a good thing for the consumer.

Interesting. Glad I didn't sell all my coolers to get "the best"

They were not the first. Engel started this market many years ago for deep sea fishing rigs

Somebody needs to build one of these super coolers and cut about half the weight of it off, I have 3 major brands, they all suck when it comes to weight, they feel full when they are empty.

Engel is the original. Started in 1962. Yeti started in 2006

This is true sir. Engel was the first since 1962
