I personally am thrilled that anyone my age could accomplish something like that. Yes, I am biased. But you can't argue with success. Hell, everytime somebody bumps another Yeti thread up to complain about them is just more free advertising.
I love capitalism. That's why I get out of bed in the morning.

Couldnt agree more with these 2 statements.

Now queue the Igloo/Coleman lovers and about how many bags of ice they could buy with the money they saved

I hear ya.....technically I think pelican made the first one for medical organ transports, but as a cooler it was likely the Sherpa that came closest to what everyone is now copying.....

Now hand me another cold one.

I think YETI prices are kinda like when flat screen tvs first came out. I looked at a 34" or so years ago when they were still kinda new and it was like $7000 lol. Then competition drove prices down and now you can buy a 34" for a few hundred dollars. YETI may be higher than the competition forever but I imagine their prices will go down some as more and more options for that style cooler are available.

Think about the gas and time I save by not having to leave my antelope camp to go buy I've every few days. It's 73 miles off the highway, BTW.

High end coolers shine in those situations.

If I had the money for an antelope camp, I'd have electricity and an ice maker. LOL. Just kidding, but I still ain't buy a 500 dollar cooler.

                      Yeti price constraints are cracking.....

The recent RTIC sale made me think it might be time to change the sticker included with new sales from "YETI" to "I Paid Too Much For My Cooler".

It would be interesting to see the pretax net profit of the Yeti coolers vs the comparable RTIC coolers. I'd like to see how much Yeti's cost of revenue eats Into their retail prices.

Wouldn't be a YETI thread without some good old arguing!

The time has expired. Bell has rung. Free market is wide open.

                                Consumers win.
