Has the Administration at TEXAS changed since the run at Saban? Part of what made me comfortable then was I did not believe they matched BAMA's AD, President and Chancellor of the System. I hope TEXAS gets who they want and soon, as long as it is not CNS .

Sumlin won't be canned but if he was my list would be short. Les Miles, a coach who's won something relevant and coach who hasn't quit on his players.

Still not in place. The President and Chancellor are solid but we have an interim AD. Texas should have hired Oliver Luck vs Patterson. We would be in a much better spot.

Sumlin won't be fired (even though there are reports out there he will with a loss to LSU). There is way to much guaranteed money on the table for Sumlin and his staff for it to happen. Not to mention going head to head with Texas and LSU for a replacement.

The roster turns over for A&M too next year so it would put the new coach in a tough spot.

That was my choice when we hired Patterson. My Louisville buds tell me he's entrenched there and wouldn't leave. He does have the basketball scandal he may want to distance himself from. I'm good with him or Luck. They act like it won't be till Fall 17 or 2018 before something happens though.

I did not realize it was just the AD so that's positive. I believe a HC at this level wants to know he has control and the Admin has his back. He does not need to have a bean counter from the Finance Dept questioning whatever he wants for the football, team, staff etc. The question of the AD cannot be ignored but it can be managed. BAMA has had it share of problems in all of these areas.

I know every time we were having a coaching search I'd say can't we just see if Coach Stallings would sign on for another 5 years to stabilize us. I had to say that a lot

I think Perrin was made the permanent AD some time ago. Im in on Herman or any other good young coach. Its time to move on.
