The screw up will be parading him out I front of the media tomorrow at 11:00.


Need a real AD.... If there was nothing to it, players wouldn't be commenting on it.

I'm doubting their ability to make a hire that makes sense at this point.

Just fire him, thank him for cleaning out and reloading the roster, and give him his money. I love UT, but they have got the dumbest ways of handling business. I got an update on my phone saying the decision to fire him had been made and the announcement was being arranged. Then, 5 minutes later an update saying the school hoped he stayed to coach the TCU game. Just do the **** thing and don't beat around the bush....

I really wanted it to work out for Strong and saw some things that made me believe it had a chance. In the end, the negatives outweighed the positives so it's time for a change. The one thing I am excited about is he left this program in better shape than he found it. Strong is a good man and I wish him well down the road.

Do you really feel he left it better than he found it? When you look at wins and losses it does not seem that way. Mack's last season they had 8 wins.

You are depending on the social media "gotta be first to the story" crew to give you exactly what is going on there and depending on its accuracy? I'd let it play out before passing judgement...but that is just me.

We don't know what he's going to say. He may have asked for it this way. I don't think they are leaving him hanging. What makes me laugh is the main people complaining about Strong being run out there in the morning is the same people that are going to asking the questions. Media going to media.

I agree with Heath, he's definitely leaving it better than he found it as far as talent goes. Mack was going through the motions when it came to recruiting and the NFL draft backs that up. Charlie is good people and I pull for good people to succeed. His down fall was missing on the coordinators. He hung with is boy to long on the defensive side of the ball and got hoodwinked by Gilbert.

You guys both reading too much into this. Tomorrow's press conference will likely be his resignation.

Or we could not tell him and let him find out while on a recruiting trip.
