I'm just going off what I know. He was there for the 1st qtr and then was no longer at the game.

Doesn't matter how long he was there, he shouldn't have been there at all.

The Baylor coach said he did not know what Oakman looked like. I call bs on that. Just more proof that Baylor does not get it.

I didn't see that. I wasn't watching the game, I just saw them replay the laser.

Don't see how Baylor can keep someone from attending an event at another schools stadium. Either way, the issue wasn't with him being in attendance. It lies with someone allowing him access afterwards.

I gotcha. I misread your post. Who would allow him in though? I can't believe the coach would let people in and not know them. Maybe other places that didn't have all that, but not after that situation at Baylor.

Well it does state innocent until proven guilty.

Here's some of the latest spin on it. If the Head Coach doesn't know who Oakman is, I'm a longhorn.....and how does a guy address the team, in the locker room, univited?

My guess is one of the assistant coaches is who let him in.

Either way it was a stupid move and another unnecessary distraction.

The only thing that happened that wasn't supposed to was that it got out and went public.

Yep, doesn't make it a good idea though.

He is barred from Bayor owned facilities, so NO you can't. Also, a ticket doesn't get you in the locker room to address the team....this is the reason for the uproar. In my oppinion, Art Briles should be able to attend all the games he wants, from the stands. But I would try to stay as "incognito" as possible.

Are we policing ideas now??? Anyone can buy a ticket. Innocent until proven guilty.

Since he is not on the team, no reason to be in the locker room.

I guess Baylor has officially banned him from attending future games. Whatever that entails.

                              Problem solved.
