It'll never go away I'm afraid. Others joke about burning it, but in all honesty, you'll probably never be able to use it again.

Buzzard nesting in blind

I built a box blind with sealed windows in 2002 and it has been going strong for the past 14 years. Had a friend hunt in it in January and forgot to close windows after making a kill. Went to check it this past Saturday and have the exact same issue. I have (had) a cloth bucket seat on a swivel on the inside and it along with the carpet is pretty much laminated with buzzard poo. Stinch is horrible. Its gonna get a match + fuel.... No saving it im afraid...
Dang good blind, but gotta go...

Light a small BBQ pit full of mesquite wood burn it to coals place it in the blind, keep adding small chunks of wood (turn the blind into a smokehouse). watch out so the temp doesn't get to hot this may need to be done several times. I had some Owls make a home in a blind and this worked for me took about 4 tries.

My son found a 120 volt Ozonics type odor remover device online on eBay for <$100. It's used by hotels in rooms that people smoked in. That thing is amazing. We now keep it in our kitchen at deer camp cabin for absorbing food odors when cooking.
