It'll never go away I'm afraid. Others joke about burning it, but in all honesty, you'll probably never be able to use it again.

If you know anybody with an Ozonics you could borrow, it would sure be worth a try. I'd be interested in the results if you do this.

I built a box blind with sealed windows in 2002 and it has been going strong for the past 14 years. Had a friend hunt in it in January and forgot to close windows after making a kill. Went to check it this past Saturday and have the exact same issue. I have (had) a cloth bucket seat on a swivel on the inside and it along with the carpet is pretty much laminated with buzzard poo. Stinch is horrible. Its gonna get a match + fuel.... No saving it im afraid...
Dang good blind, but gotta go...

Skunk scent.....,,,cover you smell and the buzzards..,a win win situation.

J/k. That's pretty bad. Something tells me that scent killer is not going to work here.

Is buzzards worse than owls? We have had 2 gun blinds messed up from owls, we changed the floor and soaped the walls and they are good now.

Light a small BBQ pit full of mesquite wood burn it to coals place it in the blind, keep adding small chunks of wood (turn the blind into a smokehouse). watch out so the temp doesn't get to hot this may need to be done several times. I had some Owls make a home in a blind and this worked for me took about 4 tries.

Any pics? We had a window busted on a blind. Looked like a buzzard sh#t tornado hit that blind. Shot the buzzard and ate her eggs....not really. But did shoot the buzzard during turkey season.

Keep in mind if you cover up the scent it will give you away a lot easier or you can use it to your advantage.

If it is worth the time and money scrub it with soap and water then scrub it with bleach. Then paint all of it with Kilzs paint.

^^^ this worked for me. But no Kilz paint. We literally hauled the blind back to near camp to work on the smell remediation.

My son found a 120 volt Ozonics type odor remover device online on eBay for <$100. It's used by hotels in rooms that people smoked in. That thing is amazing. We now keep it in our kitchen at deer camp cabin for absorbing food odors when cooking.
