    Buzzard nesting in blind

So apparently I own a motel 6 for buzzards... It is a fiberglass tank that doesn't have windows. It has been out there for the past 15 years and never had an issue. But now I'm going to close the windows off by framing windows, but then there is the smell! It is horrid!! Is there any way to kill the smell inside the blind?

That's a special kind of stink lmao. Bleach it. Then paint the inside. Then take a candle with you every time you hunt in that blind

Good cover scent. Sorry. I've never had this problem. I'm no help.

Burn it, that'll get rid of the smell.

My uncle sold a suburban after hitting a buzzard. He tried for a year to remove the smell and finally gave up, couldn't stand to drive it. I'd burn the blind lol.

I honestly don't think there is any way to get the smell out just wanted to see if there was a trick somebody knew about

Same thing happened here 4 years ago. After nearly falling from my stand while opening the door and getting the bejesus scared out of me by a pizzed off mother and some babies. I could not get that stink out for nothing, it soaked into everything! I just layed it over, took the tower and tin off and burned the rest. Lesson learned, dont forget to put your windows down over the summer!

It is almost impossible to get rid of that smell. You have to install Windows if not they will be in there every year now that they found it. Bleach, pinesol, then hang some earth scent, or pine scent air fresheners. I'm assuming there are pine trees. Your location says east Texas

It's happened to me. I wasn't able to salvage the stand. Way to funky to even try. I had a buddy that was able to clean one out and scrub it with bleach, and it eventually was ok. It sucks. Have to have windows.

The trick is to use plenty of gasoline.

Burn it. But I don't mean to the ground. Replace floor, cut out and sit on ground if you have to. Then take a torch and scorch the walls. I did it with a wooden blind and took a fat doe the next afternoon.
Maybe the epoxy in the fiberglass will seal the stench within the walls?
