What situation? This sounds to me like a robbery thwarted by the second amendment. The second they blocked him in this was no longer a pan handler or beggar situation.

The situation where people come and want money. I think he handled it perfect. but when people approach me wanting money I do not give them money. I am not saying I am right but I think the more these people get what they are asking for the more they do it.

I see what you are saying and im the same way as you. I work in the city of Houston and you just cant be doing that. It invites more and you'd be broke by the end of the week. I just think in this situation they weren't gonna be asking so much as telling to hand over money. The pistol and the "we cool" attitude is what changed it.

It was worth every penny not to have to shoot somebody or have your truck broken into later. Lots of folks say shoot, but does anyone here really want to kill somebody when $10 can change the situation? Maybe they go hit someone else, maybe they don't. If you truly feel life-threatened or fear for your children's safety, then that's a different conversation. You did the right thing, amigo.
