Been wanting to launch up there let us know how it goes.

Kayak or small boat? It can be some pretty good fishing, but even more relaxing with less boaters and calm waters, especially up in the actual creek. Lots of flooded timber, but with the lake level high you kind of just need to know where it is. Launching boats can be rough cause it's a muddy dirt launch, and the bridge doesn't allow many boats to squeeze underneath to head south. In a kayak, the bottom of the bridge is a couple feet or less above my head, hard to even paddle from hitting the concrete.

We have been doing ok on Nasworthy and Twin Buttes the last week or so. Only had 3 keepers today though.

Spotty on Lake Palestine so far. I have been jigging docks in 7-8 foot of water with some success. Nothing shallow yet. I've had the most luck using an electric chicken.

Kayak, I've been putting in at April plaza and catching a few crappie at the docks but that area is about to light up with boaters as the weather warms up.

Fish creeks today on Cooper. Not a single bite. Didn't catch a hybrid or sand bass either. Thinking the muddy water has them jacked up.

I was thinking about going to Lavon next week. Got a boat at Collin park, other than around the docks, and at the tires, have not found fish anywhere else. If my pain level is low enough, I want to go. Anyone got any other locations I can try?

Ray Roberts was good to us last week. BrushLunker.com jigs in 1/16th oz in this color was pretty dang good. You're welcome.

Fished Stubblefield and didn't catch squat. It doesn't help you get away from stupid boaters though. Had a few boats that wouldn't slow down enough. One guy came through wide open throttle and actually laughed as he looked back at kayakers dealing with his wake. Sometimes vigilante justice sure sounds worthwhile
