We are trying the varmint call this weekend
We are just north of Cleo and a cat was seen twice this year once by the Landowner and once by the Foreman. Both sightings were not far from Bear Creek. I'm going to make the guys that are out there aware of this..... Thanks for posting!

I would bet you have yotes even if you haven't seen them.
I've been hunting in this area for almost 20 years and seen 1 yote that was caught in a snare and heard them 1 time. They may be there but there are very very few.

I know some guys that call them in Ft. Davis; I know it works but a lot of the time they stalk up on you without you even knowing. When I worked out there I always put a live trap with a goat in a low spot (similar to the trap posted yesterday), and covered the steel with grass, hay, etc. My experience out there was cats liked to to be high, spot prey, and then put the stalk on.

              Good luck.

I just saw a post today about a guy on the texas hunting form that called one in in Dryden and shot it at something like 88 yards. It was in the photo section.

Most mountain lions have up too a 300 mile area hunting zone.

good luck on this, we found 2 different kill sights and prints on our old property in bronte but were never able to get the cats on camera. The only time we saw them was right at dusk and there were two of them. I sure hope that you get them. good luck
