Who is the dog guy if you don't mind me asking? If it's a sure enough lion kill the lion is close, most houndsmen would be chomping at the bit to run that cat. I hope ya'll catch him it's a once in a lifetime texas trophy.

If this is the case also then you may see a BUNCH of kills at one point. Story my sheep and goat teacher told was a ranch he visited and they found 200 angoras killed in about 2 weeks... she was teaching cubs to hunt, and angoras are DUMB... like shooting fish in a barrel

        Would love to see pics

How big is your place? It's likely that the dogs will run him a long ways. May want to get in contact with the neighbors and get permission there too.

Trapping is far more effective than "dogs" for removal of mountain lions.

If kill is not completely eaten, lion will probably be back to eat with cool temps to keep meat from spoiling.
Traps should have been set before tonight though.
Dogs can make quick work of a full lion on a fresh kill as well.

In for pictures and good luck.

You say north of Junction? Where bouts are you if you don't mind. I'm out near Segovia. Maybe not too far from you. That joker could be moving my way eventually
