Good for UH stepping up to try to keep him. The money is going to be like a Power 5 job but in the current playoff picture he won't have a shot at a title so that could make him leave.

It makes sense if you think about it. UH figures if the Big 12 is going to expand, it will be within the next couple of years. Why not go all in on a coach that can help them achieve that goal.

If UH is not invited to P5 conference within 2-3 years, Herman's departure would pretty much be inevitable.

Awe....a consolation bowl!!! I hear they give all the players a participation trophy!

I don't care how you label it. This team has exceeded the academic standard and if the bowl committee selects them for a lower tier bowl, then it is good for the players. I hope the win the next two. I know they can, but will they?

I have my last game Saturday coaching 1st and 2nd grade soccer. It's a zoo trying to keep them focused. I've never played the sport.
