    CFB Week 12 Thread

It's going to be cold in Nashville. I think we struggle on offense in this game too. For some reason I think the defense will play well. I see a low scoring game. Ags pull ahead late and win 20-17. Then some on here will conclude Houston would beat us 38-17. [emoji3]

I don't think the O stinks under Spav but can be better. I think Allen was injured.

Just getting a feel for the narrative before the kick, by since you went commenting I understand where you sit.
I was thinking it might be more of a 24-17 type of game with the Ags winning. Where do I stand? I think the Ags are a very average squad in year four of the Sumlin regime. The teams they have beat are a combined 36-35. They've beat 3 teams with winning records thus far, MSU, Nevada and Arkansas....You can jump all over that FCS squad if adding a fourth helps. That's where I stand and I'm sure you disagree.

BAMA next game is against a salty Charleston Southern Buccaneers team coming into town from the shores of the Atlantic Tank. They run a little two back option offense and I'm just hoping they don't put 400+ rushing yards on us like W. Carolina did a couple of years ago.

We can joke about 9-3 but it's still achievable. A 9-3 finish would be well ahead of the consensus 7-5 pick by most pundits. We can build and recruit off a 9-3 season plus go to a pretty good bowl. It's still on the table.

I give them a better chance to beat Baylor than I do Texas Tech.

                        Tech - 27%
                        Baylor - 28%

So, they can slow OSU down at home, but not Tech? Tech has zero defense.

                          5-7

I forgot to make my picks. Rookie mistake. Got carried away with work, family, and hunting. Maybe this week I won't forget.

I don't know if A&M has what it takes right now to win another game, and surprisingly it won't be the defenses fault (entirely). They have been giving up plenty of yards (and it is sickening to watch) but not a ton of points. Bend don't break drives me crazy.

Our offense has looked out of sync since Alabama came to town. Kyler is not ready to be a starter. He is slow on his progressions and is missing a ton of reads. He's slow to make a decision and it should have cost him more last Saturday and would have if the opponent was better. His inexperience is a glaring issue in my eyes. I hope that Allen starts Saturday but I think Kyler will start with Allen taking the reins after Kyler throws his second INT of the game. Probably sometime in the second quarter.
