opening weekend I made a bad shot! I guess I miss judged yardage or he jumped the string.... Anyway RAM KAT went all the way thru didnt find a drop of blood..... why didnt he die?!?!

Where is the hole on the other side? Possibly only got the top of one lung. If he was broadside, I have no idea. I have killed a lot of animals with shots close to that. The blood trails suck, but they die just as fast.
Still high, but if you clipped lungs, he should be dead. Especially with a wide BH like a ramcatComment

To me it appears to be a tine from another buck
It is too high and probably not deep enough to hit anything.
Edit: when i first opened the thread i did not see what you wrote, just the pic.
If you shot this buck and got a passthrough im going to guess thats a rib sticking out.
