First Point Youth Hunt Thread

I just talked to Bo a little while ago. Some additional info for everyone.

The ranch received a lot of rain over the weekend, so bringing a ATV would be a plus. Its not a deal breaker because there are still blinds accessible if wet, but just limits you.

There could be a possibility of mosquitos from all the rain so bug spray or thermacell may be needed.

Look out for rattlesnakes, so bring snake boots.

Bo confirmed what can be killed. 2 deer from the following. 1 eight point buck or better, spike and or doe. 1 bearded turkey, 1 javelina, and hogs and varmites.

Meals will be provided for Friday evening, Saturday lunch and Saturday Dinner. Kolaches will be provided for Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Look forward to seeing everyone Friday.

Thanks for info. We are leaving sometime Friday morning - I'm debating on going to get my Sami from carta valley or just coming with out if . Maybe I can borrow a 4 wheeler from cousin

I'm very sorry to say that Cole and I will not be able to attend this hunt. That sucks because this is the last year he will be eligible to be drawn. Good luck to all the other hunters and congrats to the next person drawn.
