Been decent in San Angelo I just suck at shooting

It has been slower for us. Shot 7 opening morning. Limits two days and ten Friday. Had to work for them though. Moving a lot and busting them high and far when I can.

Birds were really moving through a few weeks ago. That, the weather Wednesday and Thursday and white wings already being here makes me think it may be a short run for us this year. If I didn't have a calender I'd have told you it was late September early October already

Went our yesterday evening with my wife and son. Got 10 birds between all of us. Birds just weren't flying. This was in South Texas. The slowest white wing season I've ever had.

Shot 17 Friday night with my wife, Friday only 5, and last night only 4. Pretty bad hunting. In NW Kerr county. Here's hoping we catch a hog in the trap.

Quick limit in Foard County Thursday afternoon. Repeat Saturday in Cottle County. Most birds seen in a few years. Ideal conditions in that part of the state.

Awfully hot round here, but I see quite a few birds. More than last year for sure. We just need a cool front up north to push more down to us.

Went one time last week before surgery. Got out there kinda late but managed to get 8. Headed back this week a few times. Should be a lot better this time around. A few people out at the lease have been doing good.

Dang. That's unfortunate to hear. Im in Killeen as well. I'm going for my first time tomorrow. Ha hopefully there will be some birds for me to attempt to shoot lol
