How's your dove hunting been ??

Last two evenings have been some of the best dove hunting I have experienced. This is South of Throckmorton about 11 miles at our lease

Slow in Katy. But they fly high where I am hunting.

New braunfels was awesome early in the week...I still have bruises on my shoulder. There's still a ton of birds but they are flying super high now. Hope hunting picks up for you guys that haven't had much action.

I hunted the public land in NB Friday AM since south zone isn't open.

If my shooting wasn't terrible I would've shot close to a limit. Never hunted with strangers before and that had me pretty nervous as well.

Got ambushed in Childress this weekend. Limited out every hunt.

Smoking fast shooting so far in the panhandle. Longest a limit has taken me is just over an hour. It usually gets better here about the third week of season. I hope it just stays like it is.

A friend went with some of his family to Falfurrias for the weekend. I think between 5-6 people they came home with one bird, probably a mourning dove.

Went out close to Clarksville on Saturday morning and there wasn't a lot flying. I ended up only taking 3 shots. Winged one, couldn't find one, and ended up taking home one.

Limits two days in a row for 12 people in Hondo.

Where did you hunt? We had 25 guys on the Bader Ranch. Everybody limited out Fri and Sat, but this morning was tough.
