How's your dove hunting been ??

Mine has been crap around hico stephenville area I've shot two so far out of about 10 shots. Yeah I know I'm a crappy shot but it's only my second year lol

The birds are flying just fine around Eula and the Albany area. If someone didn't get a limit is wasn't because the birds weren't flying.

Been out there in Freestone county with no luck, 4 guys hunting, seen 5 birds in range, 3 dead. Not hearing much shooting either. One last hunt in the morning probably just gonna sit in the blind and try for a hog or two.

I was hunting out past Hamby. Too far from town for whitewings, and they didn't get as much rain out there this summer. Tank was dry.

Most of them were whitewings but there were some mourning mixed in.

1 bird in Harper out at Bob G's place. Saw plenty of birds but they were flying wide. I blame my boys camouflage.

I've been seeing a lot of whitewing flying around town. I figured you'd be in them at your place. I've been seeing a few collared dove around town too.

The way I was shooting today, it's a good thing that I didn't have any more shot opportunities than I did. It would have gotten pretty expensive if I'd had more birds to miss.

We limited out in fredonia Saturday, 20 hunters in the field and I think just about all of them limited out. And came pretty close this morning as well.

Had t been good at all, that is until tonight. Two man limit & literally had a span of about 30 mins where I just watched dove buzz the mojo & overhead. We even spent 30 mins before & after fishing!

30 mourning, 2 pigeons, & 8 or 9 Eurasians (2 man)
