A bag is cheap, but lots folks on here also have extra rifles in the car. There is way more chance of your car getting broken into and having them stolen than ever is needing them. I have had my truck broken into at the fire station in 5th Ward( not to mention at Academy, Six flags, the gym), glad I didn't have extra guns under the seat to give away. A cheap pistol is the best gun to carry if you work in the city.

Sooooo if your ever in life threatening situation do you want to be holding a "cheep" pistol or an expensive one? In that fleeting 5 second moment when your life is on the line would you feel better with $200 insurance or $1000 insurance? Your not planning for the theft......your planning on protecting your life. Is saving $800 worth it.....even if its purchased multiple times? You only have one life so its a very personal decision.....don't judge those that choose a more expensive option.

Regarding multiples perhaps some would like a longer range stand off tool as well as a up close and personal one.....or maybe they would feel better if they could arm a passenger as well.

The consideration of possible of a theft should be secondary to choosing the best and most reliable tool for the job.
I've got the pain pill side of things covered. I've had 4 surgeries in 4 years and I never use all of the pills that are prescribed to me so I've got a nice stash going. I'm having another surgery in June so I'll be adding to that stash.

As far as antibiotics go, I have read and heard that you can take antibiotics for fish and it work the same. I have not tried it myself to see if it is legit or not, it's just what I've heard.
They work fine.....but you have to hold your head under water while you take them.

I don't want something that goes "cheep", I want something that goes "bang, myself .

A $300 Taurus will kill you just as good as a $1000 Kimber. Not judging anyone, I am just saying take into consideration theft. Many people don't realize the amount of car burglaries that happen in larger cities. And like you said, don't judge me if I plan to use a (cheap)$300 pistol, worry about yourself.

I know you say this jokingly, but alcohol is actaully a good thing to have along the way. It is a very strong bargaining/trading item if need be.

It is a lot easier to eat cheetohs and buy stuff online to go into your cool bug out bag that is too heavy for your out of shape but to carry more than a quarter mile. You get to use and benefit from being in shape regardless of if you ever need your BOB.
Hey back off dude. I am in shape. Round is a shape.

Just finished the Surviving Home. I received them out of order and couldn't wait to start reading them. There is some pretty powerful stuff in those books that should make anyone stop and think.

After seeing a video of people driving through a fire storm, I think those painters masks might be something to add to a B.O.B. A fire storm is a very realistic disaster, especially in a drought time like now

I added a first aid kit. Pocket size of course.
